Tajiel Elirehema Urioh - Tanzania

Tajiel Urioh has over five years of experience in climate change, energy, conservation and youth engagement. Currently, Tajiel is the founder and executive director at The Green Icon, where he focuses on building resilience against climate change in Tanzania. He is also the secretary for the Energy Development Partners Group, a board member for the Foundation of Climate Energy and Environment, and member of the Environment Working Group for UNGC Tanzania. Tajiel studied in different countries and majored in Climate Change and the Environment. He is committed to improving the livelihoods of people who are most affected by climate change. He is also passionate about improving the health of the planet. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Tajiel plans to mentors more youth in civic engagement and contribute to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals at a grassroots level.
