Cate Meredith (she/her/hers) serves as an Education Abroad Advisor, focusing on partner and affiliate programs, semester exchanges, and internship opportunities. Cate is passionate about encouraging students to embrace new challenges and enjoys helping students discover meaningful pathways to achieve their goals.

Cate obtained her BA in Organizational Communication from NC State, where she studied abroad in Prague, CZ as a first year student. Prior to joining OIP, Cate lived in Scotland and Greece where she supported first year students studying abroad. Cate is a strong advocate for experiential learning and believes in the transformative powers of immersive experiences. 

Cate’s favorite way to explore a new place is by connecting with the local culture, through its food, music, and history. In addition to traveling, Cate loves spending time outdoors, especially hiking, swimming, and snorkeling.
