Matthew Scarborough serves as the Executive Assistant. In this role, he works closely with the Assistant Vice Provost for International Programs. He facilitates communication between the office and campus stakeholders to support the global engagement mission of the university.
Matthew received a B.A. in Near Eastern Studies and Journalism. He has lived and studied in Sicily and the MENA region
Having come from a multicultural background and community, Matthew has always been passionate about connecting people and navigating intercultural spaces. Matthew loves interacting with students and helping them to reach their goals. He is inspired by his interactions with the Fellows who come to campus through various externally-funded grant programs (such as the Mandela Washington Fellowship and the Fulbright TEA Fellowship). And of course, Matthew loves his great co-workers.
