If you are interested in an exchange program at Appalachian State University, please contact your International Office first for details on direct exchange. Students must be selected by the their respective home institutions and applications sent from that office. Applications sent by students directly cannot be accepted.
We appreciate receiving students’ applications by the deadline. Appalachian State University is one of the few U.S. institutions that registers exchange students for their courses prior to their arrival on campus. The earlier we receive applications, the faster we can register students.
Nomination Deadlines:
- Fall of each year: March 1
- Spring of each year: October 1
Application Deadlines:
- Fall of each year: March 15
- Spring of each year. October 15
Exchange partners institutions will be provided with a Nomination Form to submit prior to the deadlines. Once we have received the student's information an application will be created in the system and an email will be sent to the student containing their login information.
