Kalin Bradley (she/her/hers) serves as the Associate Director of Education Abroad for Exchange and Affiliate programs. These programs include international internships and summer non-faculty led. In addition, Kalin manages the exchange agreements with Appalachian State’s partner institutions around the world and acts as the academic advisor for all incoming exchange students on a J-1 visa. Kalin works closely with students, faculty, and staff to assist with program selection, the application and course selection and approval process, registration, and transcript processing.
Kalin obtained her bachelor’s degree in History and Psychology from Appalachian State and is currently pursuing her master’s in Higher Education. While Kalin did not have the opportunity to study abroad in college, she has traveled extensively and relishes the opportunity to help others do the same.
Kalin’s favorite part of her job is seeing the growth in students throughout the study abroad process and the fast paced nature of international education. In her free time, Kalin can be found doing some kind of physical activity: working out with friends, riding or running the trails of Western NC or kayaking down the local rivers.
