Beverly Moser

BeverlyDr. Beverly Moser is Professor and Director of the MA in Romance Languages in the Dept. of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.  She has worked in the leadership team of TEA since the program began at Appalachian in 2011.  Dr. Moser works closely with foreign language teachers across the state, regionally, and nationally. She especially loves interacting with teachers from all over the world in projects like TEA.  Dr. Moser directed the TEA Program in 2015 and 2016.  This year, she looks forward to sharing the leadership with her colleague Maria Anastasiou.

Maria Anastasiou

MariaDr. Maria Anastasiou is the Executive Director of the OIED at Appalachian State University and has extensive experience managing international projects. She works closely with the Associate Vice Chancellor to implement Appalachian’s Strategic Plan and manages the day-to-day operations of OIED. Dr. Anastasiou served as the Administrative Director of the Fulbright American Studies Institute for four years and now works with other OIED colleagues to implement and administer international programs at Appalachian.

Mallory Sadler

Mallory SadlerMallory Sadler serves as Executive Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor for International Education. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia. 

Amanda Harvey

Amanda HarveyAmanda Harvey is the Office Manager for the Office of International Education and Development. She holds Bachelors Degrees in Anthropology and in Philosophy and Religion and a Masters of Arts in Cultural Sustainability.  She is interested in sustainable development and community advocacy.
