All my career history was about making sustainability a core business value in Sudan. Shortly After graduation ,and during an internship in DAL group - which is a group of sixteen different companies and the partner of choice for international brands such as Coca Cola and Mercedes-Benz, I managed to convince seiner management to initiate an energy conservation project which aims to reduce dependency on fossil fuel in the factories and protect the environment. One month later, I was offered a position in DAL to be the youngest and the only female engineer among + 90 other male engineers. This year, I have successfully initiated, planned and led four challenging sustainability projects in DAL Dairy Factory and Coca Cola factory in Sudan resulting in 12 % saving in fuel consumption and carbon emissions, Moreover, I was chosen to direct the newly established first Sustainable Energy Department in DAL Group.
