Killam Fellowship

Cash award of $6,000 US per semester ($12,000 for a full academic year), and includes a three day orientation in Ottawa, and a three day spring seminar in Washington. A health benefit plan is included.
The Killam Fellowships Program provides an opportunity for exceptional undergraduate students from universities in the United States to spend either one semester or a full academic year as an exchange student in Canada. Students may participate in the program either as a direct exchange student (registering at their home university, paying their home fees, and attending the host university as an exchange visitor) or as a self-placed visiting student (registering at the host university and paying host tuition fees). Applicants interested in the direct exchange program must be registered at one of the participating American universities and be planning to visit one of the participating Canadian universities.
Mitchell Scholarship

Established in 2007 in honor of AIA Honorary President Jane Waldbaum, this scholarship is intended to help students who are planning to participate in archaeological field work for the first time. Students majoring in archaeology or related disciplines are especially encouraged to apply. The Scholarship Fund provides $1000 each to help pay expenses associated with participation in an archaeological field work project (minimum stay one month/4 weeks). The scholarship is open to students who have begun their junior year of undergraduate studies at the time of application and have not yet completed their first year of graduate school at a college or university in the United States or Canada.
The Diverse International Women of Color Study Abroad Scholarship

RISE stands for Research Internships in Science and Engineering. RISE Germany offers undergraduate students from North American, British and Irish universities the opportunity to complete a summer research internship at top German universities and research institutions. RISE Germany is funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. Students are matched with a host university or institute according to their area of interest (biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, or a closely related field). DAAD provides students a monthly stipend for three months to help cover living expenses. Host universities, universities of applied sciences (UAS) and institutes provide housing assistance and match students with Ph.D. student mentors or researchers (only UAS). German language is not required and the working language will be in English.
Eisenhower Global Scholars

Eisenhower Global Scholars, typically 20 to 30 years old, will spend a full academic year of intensive postgraduate study and hands-on work experience, leading to the following degrees: Master in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford in England, for students focused on public service and effective governance and Master in International Relations from the School of Global and Public Affairs at IE University in Spain, for students focused on the global economy, innovation and entrepreneurship. Ertegun Scholarships in the Humanities

All Ertegun Scholarships cover course fees in full. Scholars also receive a generous annual grant for living costs (the rate for 2023-24 is £18,622), which is normally sufficient to cover the living costs of a single student living in Oxford.

Rhodes Scholarship

The value of a Rhodes Scholarship consists of a direct payment to the Scholar's college of all tuition fees, plus a maintenance stipend of at least £13,390 per year.

Recipients of the Rhodes Scholarship are expected to complete at least one degree (either a second bachelor's, a master's, or a doctoral degree) at Oxford. Applicants must be a citizen of the US or a lawful permanent resident for at least five years, between 18-24 years of age, and must have achieved academic standing sufficiently advanced to assure the competition of a bachelor's degree by October 1 of the year following the application (before the commencement of their study at Oxford).
Fulbright UK Summer Institutes

The Institute costs covered by the Fulbright Commission and its partner institutions include: round-trip airfare, tuition and fees at the host institution, accommodation, and in some cases, a small daily allowance for meals.

The institute is looking for students who can demonstrate: strong academic ability, ambassadorial skills, intercultural sensitivity, a genuine desire to learn more about the UK and to share aspects of American culture, extracurricular activities, community involvement, leadership potential, and plans to further the Fulbright mission and give back to the US upon their return.
