Bio:

Hunter Bass serves as the Education Abroad Financial Specialist. In this role, he processes study abroad-related charges, financial aid, expenses, and reimbursements for students and faculty.

Hunter obtained his BSBA in Accounting and Labor Studies in 2023 from Appalachian State, his MBA in Human Resource Management from Appalachian State in 2024, and is currently a student in the MS in Accounting Program concentrating in Accounting Analytics at Appalachian State. As a first-generation student, Hunter found an interest in supporting student endeavors in higher education while working as an Accounting undergraduate tutor and then a graduate assistant at Appalachian State's University Tutorial Services. While Hunter never took the opportunity to study abroad, he enjoys supporting students in enriching their education through studying abroad by accurately coordinating the financial aspects of their study abroad experiences. He is also hoping to travel internationally in the near future.

As a native of Southeastern North Carolina, Hunter enjoys both the coast and the high country and what their scenery has to offer. In his free time, you can find Hunter hiking, spending time with family, friends, or his dog, or reading up on the latest research in the Accounting and Human Resource Management fields.
