Human Development and Creative Writing

- Unique Feature: This four-week study abroad experience (6 credits) offers students an opportunity to experience the culture of another country while pursuing interdisciplinary academic credit for a Psychology course and an English course. Students will based in the ancient city of Dubrovnik, Croatia. where they will attend classes taught by the program leaders and make local excursions to get to know the city and other nearby sites. The city of Dubrovnik is located along the southern end of the magnificent Dalmatian coast of Croatia and will be a perfect spot for making longer expeditions to neighboring islands and other historical sites. Students will take PSY 2210 and ENG 3652 for a total of 6 credits.
Renaissance London

Students will attend 2-3 plays at Shakespeare's Globe and 1-2 plays at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Our aim will be to study Shakespeare's plays in performance. Students will also visit some of the best galleries, museums, and libraries in the world as well as historic sites such as Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, and St. Paul's Cathedral. Students will read selected poetry and prose written in and about Renaissance London.
